| Resumo: | Nos avanços das teorias sociocognitivas na Ciência da Informação (CI), observa-se uma crescente importância dos estudos de análise de domínio, que se refletem na produção científica brasileira da área, mas sem que se tenha uma sistematização de como esse domínio vem se comportando na literatura da área. Objetivou-se investigar como a comunidade acadêmica brasileira em CI vem trabalhando essa questão na literatura científica e qual sua base de referentes teóricos. A partir da análise a literatura disponível na Base Referencial de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI), Anais do ENANCIB, Anais dos Congressos de ISKO-Brasil, e bases de teses e dissertações defendidas nos programas de pós-graduação stricto sensu em CI do Brasil, buscou-se a incidência do termo domínio (em palavra-chave, título e resumo), aplicando-se análise bibliométrica e de conteúdo. Os resultados revelaram a existência de grupos de excelência nessa temática e uma significativa colaboração científica. Os referentes teóricos seminais, Dahlberg e Hjørland representam, respectivamente, uma visão mais ontológica e uma visão mais sociocognitiva da área. Pode-se concluir que a CI, no Brasil, revela-se produtiva nesse tema, em escala ascendente, com núcleos de excelência e forte conexão temática com a organização do conhecimento e os estudos métricos em informação. |
| Abstract: | In the advances of the socio-cognitive theories in Information Science (IS), there is an increasing importance of the studies on domain analysis, which are reflected in the Brazilian scientific production of the area. Howere, there has not been yet a systematization of the behavior of this domain in the Literature. The aim in this paper is to investigate how the Brazilian community in IS has been working on this subject in the scientific literature, as well as its base of theoreticians that are used in the references. The BRAPCI database, the ENANCIB proceeding, ISKO-Brasil proceedings, and databases of theses and dissertations of Brazilian academic graduate programs in CI were used to find the presence of the term "domain" (in the keywords, titles, and abstracts) and then apply bibliometric and content analyses. The results reveal groups of excellence working on in this topic and a significant scientific collaboration. The seminal theoretical authors that are used as references, Dahlberg and Hjørland, represent, respectively, a more ontological view and a more sociocognitive view of the area. It is concluded that the Brazilian IS is increasingly productive on this topic, with some core groups of excellence, and a strong link with the topics of knowledge organization and metric studies in information. |
